Physiotherapy does not always have to come out of your own pocket. Depending on your situation, there may be funding available to cover part or all of the cost of your treatment.

NDIS

If you are an NDIS participant, physiotherapy can be funded under the Capacity Building — Improved Daily Living category. We work with self-managed and plan-managed participants.

DVA

Veterans holding a Gold Card or White Card may be eligible for physiotherapy funded by the Department of Veterans’ Affairs. A GP referral is required and there are no out-of-pocket costs for eligible veterans.

If your GP has put you on a Chronic Disease Management plan, you may be eligible for a Medicare rebate on up to five allied health visits per year. A gap payment typically applies.
