If you’re an NDIS participant, family member, or support coordinator looking for a physiotherapist, you’ve probably noticed there’s no shortage of mobile providers across Sydney. The harder part is knowing what actually matters once you look past the marketing — and what makes day-to-day service either smooth or frustrating for everyone involved.
Here’s what we think genuinely matters, and how we approach each one.
For Participants: What Good Home Visit Care Should Feel Like
You shouldn’t have to worry about travel. The entire idea of home visit physiotherapy is that it comes to you — your lounge room, your driveway, or your local park if that’s more useful for your goals. If a provider is charging separate, unclear travel fees on top of your session cost, ask about it upfront. We don’t charge separate out-of-pocket travel fees when our physiotherapists visit you.
You should see the same physiotherapist each time. Continuity matters, especially if you’re working on longer-term goals like mobility, strength, or fall prevention. Every participant is matched with a dedicated physiotherapist who gets to know your history and your home environment, rather than a rotating roster of unfamiliar faces.
Your funding arrangement should be straightforward. We work with self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants as a provider. This means simple, transparent invoicing that goes straight to you or your plan manager — with no confusion about what’s being billed or why.
For Support Coordinators: What Makes Referrals Easy (or Hard) If you’re managing a caseload, the physiotherapist you refer to needs to make your job easier, not add to it. A few things we’ve built our process around:
Low-admin referrals: A short referral form, a quick intake process, and no back-and-forth chasing for basic details.
Proactive communication: Once a batch of sessions is approved, you’ll receive the full list of appointment dates and times upfront — not after the fact.
Clinician-led, defensible decisions: If a participant’s goals call for a change in session frequency, you’ll get a clear clinical justification rather than a vague request – something you can confidently stand behind during plan reviews.
These aren’t abstract promises – they’re the day-to-day workflow our dedicated team of local physiotherapists follows on every case.
Coverage Across Sydney We currently service participants across St George, Bayside, Inner West, Canterbury-Bankstown, Fairfield, Liverpool, Campbelltown, Parramatta, Blacktown, and Penrith – with physiotherapists based locally in each corridor, so scheduling isn’t held up by long travel distances.
Getting Started Whether you’re a participant looking for a new provider or a support coordinator building out options for your caseload, we keep the process simple:
Submit a referral: Fill out our quick form, or have your participant book directly with us.
Confirm funding details: We confirm plan management details.
Match with a clinician: A dedicated physiotherapist is paired with the participant, and the initial home visit is scheduled.
Establish ongoing care: Regular sessions are locked in to ensure continuity of care
There’s no obligation and no complicated onboarding — just a straightforward first conversation.
