Support at Home Physiotherapy

Support at Home physiotherapy is in-home clinical care funded through the Australian Government’s Support at Home program. A qualified physiotherapist visits the client’s home rather than the client travelling to a clinic. Bayside Mobile Physio delivers this service across Greater Sydney, helping older Australians build strength, improve balance, and stay independent at home.

What Is Support at Home Physiotherapy?

Support at Home is the Australian Government’s in-home aged care program. It replaced the Home Care Packages (HCP) Program and the Short-Term Restorative Care Programme from 1 November 2025. The Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) remains a separate, entry-level program for people who need a lower level of support. Support at Home physiotherapy is one of the clinical supports funded under the Support at Home program, delivered directly in a client’s home rather than at a clinic.

Eligible individuals are allocated an individual budget under the program. Physiotherapy sessions are drawn from that budget and claimed directly by the provider, so there’s no separate invoice for the client to manage. This sits alongside our broader aged care physiotherapy services for older Australians across Sydney.

What Services Are Included in Support at Home Physiotherapy?
